4-H SUMMER AT THE CREAMERY
Our 4-H crew has been making the most of summer! July brought two meetings, with our group continuing Countries Around the World, enjoying Show & Tell, and planning some fun adventures together. We were especially excited to welcome a new member to the group, we love seeing our 4-H family grow!
The highlight of the month was our Outdoor Adventure Day at Beard’s Hollow. The kids hiked down the trail to the beach and spent the afternoon exploring tide pools filled with sea anemones, starfish, crabs, and barnacles. While we didn’t spot any baby seals this time, it was a wonderful opportunity to explore the coastline and learn about the importance of respecting and caring for these delicate habitats.
Looking Ahead to August
August 7 | 2–4 PM
We’ll continue our Countries Around the World series and Show & Tell, while also beginning to plan our end of year activities as the 4-H year wraps up in September.
August 21 | 2–4 PM
We’re hoping to meet at the fairgrounds to explore the exhibits and see what fellow 4-H members and clubs have been working on. We’ll finalize the details once the Fair Schedule is released.
It’s been a wonderful summer for our Jerseys, and we’re so happy to see our group growing, exploring, and making memories together!
