DESCRIPTION:Our new cheese class this month will be a hands-on workshop for making Feta!  \n\n\n\nFeta is a brined curd cheese traditionally made from sheep or goat’s milk that originated in Greece. It is one of the oldest recorded cheeses in the world. Known for it’s salty\, tangy flavor and crumbly texture it is easily recognized. \n\n\n\nIn this class\, you’ll learn how to start feta using cow’s milk\, simple tools\, and basic ingredients. This class will get you started\, but there’s homework involved since feta is ideally aged between 5-7 days\, so you’ll get to take your cheese home and brine it yourself! \n\n\n\nLIMITED TO 6 PARTICIPANTS \n\n\n\nAdmission is $60 per person \n\n\n\nFor more information and to sign-up\, please email: events@littleislandcreamery.net or call (360) 849-9456 ext.1
